Terms and Conditions – Sydney Marathon Giveaway

1. Promoter
The promoter of this giveaway is Verve Running ("the Promoter").

2. Eligibility
2.1. The giveaway is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older.
2.2. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

3. Giveaway Entry
3.1. The giveaway opens on April 1, 2025, and closes at 11:59 PM (AEST) on May 10, 2025 ("Promotional Period").
3.2. To enter, customers must purchase a pair of running shoes from Verve Running during the Promotional Period.
3.3. Each eligible shoe purchase grants one (1) entry into the giveaway.
3.4. Entries are automatically recorded at the point of purchase; entrants must express their interest in participating in the event to Verve Running staff members, either in person or via email.

4. Prize
4.1. The prize consists of one (1) entry to the Sydney Marathon 2025 ("the Prize").
4.2. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternative.
4.3. Travel, accommodation, and any additional expenses incurred in relation to the event are the sole responsibility of the winner.

5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1. The winner will be drawn at random on May 15, 2025 and announced via Verve Running’s official social media channels.
5.2. The winner will be contacted via the details provided at the time of purchase. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, a redraw will take place.

6. General Conditions
6.1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entries.
6.2. If fraudulent activity or non-compliance with these terms is detected, the Promoter may disqualify the entry.
6.3. The Promoter is not responsible for any event cancellation, delay, or modification beyond its control.
6.4. By entering, participants consent to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

7. Privacy
7.1. Any personal information collected will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy and will only be used for the purpose of conducting this giveaway.

8. Liability
8.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the giveaway or use of the Prize.
